Initial Attempts To Resolve Bluetooth Peripheral Device Driver Error: The first thing I did was bring up the list of bluetooth devices by clicking on Bluetooth Devices located underneath Devices and Printers from the main Windows 7 Control Panel window. Next I right clicked on the iPhone to display the iPhone bluetooth connection properties menu as displayed below in the example image and attempted to let Windows 7 tell me what it thought was wrong by clicking the Troubleshoot option from the properties menu. Windows 7 iPhone Bluetooth Connection Properties Menu: After clicking the Troubleshoot option from the iPhone bluetooth connection properties menu two different options to start troubleshooting the bluetooth connection problem were displayed. The first option was to install a driver for the Bluetooth Peripheral Device and the second option was to modify the Windows Update to install the newest drivers available for devices on your Windows 7 computer. I can pair the Droid Bluetooth with the PC Bluetooth without difficulty. The Droid then says it is paired but not connected. I can choose a password on the PC, and then without intervention the Droid opens a window for me to enter the same password, which of course I do. The computer then announces that I am connected, but the Droid still says it error establishing connection is paired but not connected. Clearly I am missing something. I am assuming by the way that once I can establish the connection I will be able to transfer files between the PC and the SD card in the Droid. Is that right. Probably a restart would have sufficed. I recently got a TrueBlue TB-100T3 and tried pairing it with my computer (Windows 7 64-bit). At first it paired, but it would not appear under Sound Devices. I updated my Broadcom Bluetooth drivers here: http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php Now my headset appears in both Playback and Recording, but shows as Disconnected. The device is on, paired, and appears under "Device Manager" as having no problems. I right-clicked and installed both the Hands-free Telephony and Headset services. Here is an image: Right-clicking the device and selecting Connect does nothing. Does anyone have a solution?
