If one AMP is out of space, the database is full. select VProc, CurrentPerm, MaxPerm from dbc.DiskSpace where DatabaseName='SMB_ETLBASE';Data skew such as this is typically the result of a poor (e.g. defaulted to first column) primary index. If so, the Log table "utillog" will be created in that database, and therefore the database must have PERM space allocated to it. You might need to move some space to the database, or build your log table in a different database (by qualifying the log table with a database name). 0

Hi, I once created a DB which I filled with 5000 images (50MB each). Unfortunately I dropped the table lately so I am trying to recreate the table. But after a few hundred entries the following message appears: com.teradata.jdbc.jdbc_4.util.JDBCException: [Teradata Database] [TeraJDBC 14.00.00.13] [Error 2644] [SQLState HY000] No more room error in teradata in database All. I don't know why the database "All" is mentioned. I never created it and I don't refer to it in my code. Displaying the perm space of this database shows that it is 0.0. What does this DB has to do with filling my images into another DB? 0 Kudos Reply All Forum Topics Previous Topic Next Topic 1 REPLY tomnolan Teradata Employee Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Get Direct Link Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content 06-01-2012 10:30 AM 06-01-2012 10:30 AM Re: No more room in database All. When working with LOBs, the Teradata Database can return a misleading Database Error 2644 "No more room in database All." This may indicate that your Teradata Database userid doesn't have enough perm space. Youshould try increasing the perm space for your userid. 0 Kudos Reply Teradata Links Teradata.com Teradata Partners Support & Forums Support Portal / TaYS Teradata Aster Community Communities Downloads Documentation Developer Downloads Teradata Express Teradata Aster Express Teradata Aster Developm
