Published on Jul 31, 2013Using Windows XP service pack 2 and getting this bug when trying to generate XML using ITR workbook I must admit that this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=taeQkJ5THvQ was a strange bug for i personally didn't face it since i have a service pack 3 for windows XP but few people using service pack 3 also complain of this bug .One of my subscriber's while trying to fill the return (excel workbook ITR 1 )was getting this message .After analysing the message he got via his send email screenshot and going through his comments , i understood that it was not easy for me to replicate the problem because it seemed to be a operating system issue and in my parent laptop ,it didn't seem a good idea to virtualise (create a seperate system for this version of windows XP),so i virtualised my other laptop and yes the bug did came in service pack 2 , .Basically the VB coding done vide modules used to generate the Extended mark up document don't compile properly with versions of windows XP OS lesser than service pack 3 version...so people using windows XP service pack 2 might face this problem ,because when i installed windo

Module 1 What happens if you hit Debug? If you don't get that option, then see if you can unprotect the VBA project and try opening it again. Module 1 The debug option is not there. It does not allow me to do anything. The message says that this error commonly occurs when the code is incompatible with the version platform. Hey, a Windows update the other day seems to be causing this error in AutoCAD. I think it is only a problem with the 2007 version of Office products that were updated (two computer are having the problem in the office but had Office 2007 updated the rest are okay and had office 2010 updated). On one of those computers I was able to do a system restore to before the update and everything is now working, however the other didn't have a restore point to go back to. I tried uninstalling all the updates but it still isn't working so I assume it did something with VBA and the references AutoCAD is trying to use. The first image is what I get when I try to run basically any command (not just custom VBA but line gives the error, quit and so on). The second image is the error I get in the actual custom project (DrawingSettings is a custom form in the project that isn't recognized for some reason). The third image is all the references used by my project, all seem to be in the right place. Is there a way to determine which reference is causing the problem or if the problem is bigger than that? I've also uninstalled and re-installed AutoCAD Map 3D 2011 multiple times with no luck. I would reinstall the vba enabler for acad. There's been a long history of Office messing up vba if its installed after acad. Reinstalling acad won't fix it since the vba enabler is now separate.
