I can log in via the console port just fine & enter en ok. But... if I telnet into the switch, I can authenticate as a user with lev 15 permissions, but if I try to enter en mode - get the following error: BEL-3750G-ServerRoom>en % Error in authentication. Please advise. Thank you 0 Back to top #2 error in n00b13 n00b13 Cisco Routing expert Members 1372 posts Gender:Male Location:Australia Posted 28 December 2008 - 07:11 PM I can think of two things. aaa config? Either you have AAA turned on and no preference and types or you local password is jammed. You need to do a password recovery somehow, but this may be an issue with that range of switch as there are built in anti-hack mechanisms like no password-recovery. 0 Back to top Back to CCIE Lab 1 user(s) are reading this topic 0 members, 1 guests, 0 anonymous users Reply to quoted postsClear Sadikhov IT Certification forums → CERTIFICATION → CISCO SYSTEMS → CCIE Lab Privacy Policy FORUM RULES · Change Theme Main Mobile Help Community Forum Software by IP.Board Sign In Use Facebook Use Twitter Need an account?
