I installed it but no cigar. I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't work either. Does anyone have a fix for this because I'd really like to play this game again. -.- If there's a topic about this please show me, the search menu won't work for me for some reason. Veröffentlicht am 20.08.2012I planned to setup a simple offline minecraft server for my laptop. For that i have downloaded two executable files from the official minecraft website. Name of the two files are minecraft.exe and minecraft_server.exe. Then i created a server file with its properties (i.e a file looks like server.properties). When i try to run the .exe files, instantly a window with the name Launch4j appears and shown me the error "This application requires a java runtime environment 1.5.0". Suddenly i dont know what to do. Then i searched for a while to get overcome the error. Finally i fixed the problem by installing the new version of java runtime environment that might be 1.5.0 also. updated Java to jre-7u6-windows-x64.exe, and now http://forum.jbidwatcher.com/forums/1/topics/3485 when I try to start JBidWatcher it fails with a launch error "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0". Running Windows 7 Ultimate, and JBidWatcher 2.5.2. Any ideas? over 3 years afleance 44 post(s) Oracle updated my java, error java and now I'm getting this message "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0". I have Java 1.6.0_37 and Java 1.7.0_09 installed, and it was working before somehow.\ I'm wondering if this version check is out-of-date, as Java 1.5 is error java runtime very old now, and JBW should work with Java 6 and 7. over 3 years Philip 34 post(s) I still get this error message from time to time with Java updates. The solution (for me) is to uninstall all versions of Java, especially out-of-date ones. Then re-install the latest version of Java (and possibly JBidWatcher) and the error goes away. over 3 years Ahole 1 post You need to also install the 32 bit Java along with the 64 bit for Jbidwatch to work. The 32 bit file is jre-7u13-windows-i586.exe Forums → JBidwatcher Help → Voices Philip afleance Ahole Two's company. Three's a forum. More's a Beast. Powered by Beast © 2006 Josh Goebel and Rick Olson
