If memory is bad try removing it and swapping memory sticks if you have 2 or move the 1 to the other slot of you have 2 slots available.Also may want to try another wall outlet as incorrect/fluctuating voltages/frequency can cause Hardware issues as well.Try using the correct Manufacturer HDD tool to see if you can recover the drive. You may have to remove the drive to find out which Manufacturer it is.
