Finally I uninstalled the Palm Desktop software and reinstalled from the CD that came with the Palm m515. The applicatin now works, however, the Desktop software version is not the same as I previously had installed. I searched on the internet and found a newer version and installed it. Unfortunately the same stinky error occurred. So I uninstalled again and reinstalled from the CD. I also found a hint that an Adobe flash player update might cause this problem so I followed directions to delete a pseudo-graphic number from zon
