con Windows Vista, deciden "downgradearse" a XP. Lo que pasa es que  el estándar de facto hoy en dÃa es que vengan con discos duros SATA, para los cuales hacen falta drivers que no suelen venir incluidos en el CD de instalación del XP (hay excepciones). La consecuencia inmediata es que, al arrancar con el CD booteable de instalación, no detecta ningún dispositivo y por tanto nos quedamos en bragas… O eso parece :-) Hay muchos manuales muy buenos a lo largo y ancho de la «intesné» que explican como crear CD's de instalación de XP, partiendo de uno inicial, para incluirle los drivers necesarios para que reconozca nuestro HD en tal crucial momento. Es una de las tantas opciones que ofrece un programita llamado nLite, el encargado de cocinar nuestro XP al gusto. Una solución que funciona, no hay duda. Pero el caso es que mucha gente se queja de un mensaje de error (en realidad son el mismo error repetido varias veces, como 5 ó 6) en el momento de iniciar, justo antes de que cargue el escritorio, que reza algo asà como "Windows no puede encontrar el archivo nhelper.exe; compruebe que la ruta es correcta y blablabla…" Pues nada, que al parecer tiene que ver con el susodicho nLite y que es un verdadero coñazo. Suelo ver posts en que la gente recomienda descargar de internet el archivo "nhelper.exe" y ponerlo en: %systemroot%\system32\nhelper.exe En teorÃa funciona, pero a mà por ejemplo al cabo de dos reinicios o asà me volvÃa a salir el dichoso error, como si alguna fuerza oscura lo quitase de donde lo hemos puesto. Asà que al tiempo, cansado ya de esto, me propuse encontrar una solución más efectiva…y la encontré :-) No la he visto por internet, asi que aqui va, al grano: La cuestion es que hay que eliminar una clave del registro, concretamente: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx\nlQl La forma rápida de hacerlo es abrir el Editor del Registro (Inicio -> Ejecutar -> Escribir "regedit", sin comillas), ir navegando en la columna de la izquierda hasta la clave mencionada y cuando la encontréis pues hacer click derecho sobre ella y "Eliminar", y hala, se acabó el problema :-) Si tenéis curiosidad, podéis ver que contiene dicha clave, y que hacen los valores "3" y "4" ahà contenidos (llaman a scripts, no recuerdo ahora que hacÃan exactamente, pero nada importante, aparte de fastidiar con lo del error). When i use my nLited error nhelper windows XP install disk, always when i log in, it takes long time and then pops up that "Windows cannot find nhelper blaa blaa.." error message. How i can fix that? I have removed lot's of components from install disk and integrated RyanVM Updatepack.
