Cause of the error: - bad flash - official image flashed -> ERR01 : NO CA FOUND What doesn't work anymore: - no boot - no network connection - no possible image upgrade - DreamUp unable to upgrade even with serial cable Solution: 1) Use DreamUp 1.3.3 with serial (null modem) cable 2) Choose COM1, connect, power ON DM800 and wait 3) After a few seconds the DM800 screen will come back with an IP address 4) Type in that address in IE 5) Flash first a BootLoader (ex: 72R1) 6) reboot DM8000 or DM800 and hold power button 7) Wait for IP to appear on DM800 screen 8)Type in that address in IE 9) Flash your desired image If still not possible. - remove power - press power button - put power back - wait for the screen to show a DHCP given IP address - try to flash via Network on that address or - Remove power plug - Wait 30 sec - Put power back and immediately hold the power on button healeydave9th September, 2010, 02:25 PMOk, I am pretty certain my box in terminal. I have tried all the methods to try and force an image over the COM, I am pretty sure no-on can help me, but you just never know :-) The problem is, every other thread seems to think that once you connect DreamUp to the Box, you will magicaly get an IP assigned to the box. If box booting it is ok try to flash any ferrari image for DM8000 by using optiflasher and "Flashing by Network lan only" method You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. It just means that the flashrom with the graphical menu was erased. You can restore this with a too

Level: 61 [?] Erfahrungspunkte: 59.187.298 Nächster Level: 64.602.553 DM8000 meldet "ERR01: NO CA FOUND" Ich sitze hier bei einem Bekannten mit 'ner DM8000, wo wir Newnigma drauf flashen wollten, was offenbar tierisch in die Hose ging, wobei wir nicht die ersten sind, denen das passiert ist ... soviel wissen wir schon. Das Newnigma 2 (unseres stammt von IHAD!) hat noch vermutlich den Clone-Check aktiv, der bei der 8000er offenbar nicht funktioniert und so schießt das DIng offenbar alle Original-Geräte auch gleich ab. Kurzum: Wir bräuchten einen Rat von jemandem, dem das auch schon passiert ist. Die Box ist ein Original von Ponny ... das ist mal sicher. Sämtliche sogenannten Anleitungen haben wir schon probiert, finden aber immer nur eine gepatchte DreamUp für die DM800. Die DM8000 reagiert hier nicht. Kein Fortschritt erkennbar Wie bekommen wir die 8000er wieder in Gang? Falls uns jemand helfen könnte, bitte mit Schritt-für-Anleitung und - falls möglich - die notwendigen Tools mit anhängen. Ich hab mich heute schon wieder in Boards registrieren müssen, was letztlich absolut sinnbefreit war
