(error code ###) may cause by a conflict with software on your computer, browser cache that needs to be cleared, or a temporary problem on the Gmail server. Google recommends enabling the 'Always use https' setting in Gmail by following these steps: Sign in to Gmail. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page. Set 'Browser Connection:' to 'Always use https.' Click Save Changes. Reload Gmail. If you continue to experience difficulties, please access the older version of Gmail by clicking Older version at the top of any Gmail page or by going to http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=1. A: We also find some old version of IE or Firefox may need to upgrade to a new version. WHAT CAUSES ERROR 103 I can't say http://www.divergentstudio.com/georgeswonderblog/2008/1022/technology/computers-and-computer-related/email/gmail-error-103-revisited/ for sure but I get the feeling that Gmail Error 103 is a temporary error (except for the August 11th "crash day" noted in Kevin Burke's My Gmail is Still Down) that may occur if: you try https://network.informatica.com/thread/21660 to type an email too quickly then send it (I often lock up computers clicking stuff more quickly than the computer reacts), or… if their server is busy or something, or if something happens between you and error occurred the Gmail server TRY TO FIX GMAIL ERROR 103 CHECK SENT MAIL AND SEE IF YOUR MESSAGE(S) WENT OUT According to a user in a Google groups post dated August 8th of this year, check your Sent Mail.
