Please try again" [Resolved] "Sorry. An error occurred. Please try again" brit77 @brit77 2 months, 2 weeks ago Hi, I'm seeing this error: Sorry. An error occurred. Please try again when attempting to generate a PDF. I haven't tried to print a PDF in a while, so I can't say how long it https://wordpress.org/support/topic/sorry-an-error-occurred-please-try-again-1/ has been going on for. I tested the plugin on a local install, and it worked fine. Could it be an issue with my host? I recently upgrade to a new server. Any help in troubleshooting this will be much appreciated. https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/20327/ Thanks, Sarah https://wordpress.org/plugins/printfriendly/ Viewing 7 replies - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) brit77 @brit77 2 months, 2 weeks ago Just an update…I installed the plugin on another site on the same server, and it worked. So I assume it is error occurred not an issue with the host. I will next try deactivating plugins to see if there is a conflict. brit77 @brit77 2 months, 2 weeks ago I deactivated all the other plugins and activated the default theme with no luck. Through some testing, I did discover that the error occurred only on one of the three custom post types on which I use the PDF button. Next, I deleted/reinstalled the plugin, and it worked again with the default settings. When I updated the error occurred in settings, I found that my custom CSS appears to be breaking this function on the custom post type. On the other custom post types on which the PDF creation works, it is very slow (as compared to when I do not have my custom style sheet selected). I ran the CSS through some error checking services and didn't find any obvious problems. Is there something wrong with my CSS file? Is it just too long and causes the PDF creation to time out? It is hard to troubleshoot by editing the CSS, as any changes I make to the file do not seem to take effect. So, at this point I have no idea what else to try next! Hope someone can help. 🙂 brit77 @brit77 2 months, 2 weeks ago I checked the error console while attempting to PDF print a long custom post type and it went through several instance of: GET http://pdf.printfriendly.com/pdfs/poll.js?id=1468269343_178d71&start_time=1468269343&_=1468269350439 200 OK and then ended with this error: 402 Payment Required {"errorType":"timedout"} Any suggestions on how to address/resolve this? brit77 @brit77 2 months, 2 weeks ago This is the last thing I thought to try: First, I remembered to clear my browser cache to see the custom CSS changes. I deleted all the content of the CSS file then cleared my browser cache. Even with a completely empty CSS file, the PDF printing times out. I also tried moving the CSS file from the root of wp-content and placed it

The problem is that, within the zip task, the xerces jar is being incorrectly identified as a directory instead of a jar file. It is being copied properly earlier in the process as a jar file by the copy task. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks in advan
