A Sql Network Connection Error Occurred And Your Connection Was Cleared
5 Error when creating Net Folder Server Win2k8 Hi All, I am having some trouble creating a net folder server. My config is as follows: Filr v 1.0.0 (Beta 6). Virtual Machines running on VMWare Workstation 9.0.2 for windows, DNS/Edirectory/File Server - Windows Server 2008 R2 I have tried a variety of ways of creating the server, the latest being importing users with home directories. The Net Folder Server appears as I'd expect, 192.168.1.99-Data (IP of file server and the share name). However, when I enter the proxy name and test the connection, I get the following error. "A network error occurred when testing the conenction" The error I am getting in the messages log on the Appliance is below. I also have a wireshark capture from the DNS server if it is of use. Any help much appreciated! :-) Apr 12 16:40:43 FilrAppliance [XTCOM]: INFO:thread_handler:readline : RequestSize:460 Apr 12 16:40:43 FilrAppliance [XTCOM]: INFO:FAMT_ReadxmlNodeString: Key of tag met : authenticate Apr 12 16:40:43 FilrAppliance [XTCOM]: INFO:FAMT_ReadxmlNodeString: Key of tag srv : 192.168.1.99 Apr 12 16:40:43 FilrAppliance [XTCOM]: I

Goto Windows-Start->Programs->Microsoft SQL Server 20xx->Configuration Tools->SQL-ServerConfiguration-Manager After starting this Configuration Tool go to SQL-Server-Network-config.-> protocols for [instance name] Open TCP/IP at right site Choose IP-Adresses above. Scroll down to IPAll Insert in the field for TCP-Port your port 1433 Restart SQL-Server service. u can check if your server is now listening on port 1433 with queries use master sp_ReadErrorLog --(sql server 2012) --or Xp_readerrorlog --(sql server 2008 and below) in the result you should read something like Server is listening on [ 'any'
