I have enabled IP and domain restrictions and get a 403 error message when a client from a forbidden IP tries to connect. I have also set the 403 iis custom error page on the 'Error Pages' to a htm file on my local drive. Still, we just get a standard 403 error page. Any ideas on what could be the issue? We are running SharePoint on the web site. Can that affect the error page functionality? Can that affect the error page functionality? Yes, but since you don't give many details it's hard to diagnose. Request tracing would help, even the IIS log file might show something.
