Windows XP Using the services console: Click on the Start Button, select Run. In the run dialogue type "services.msc" and click OK. Locate "Print Spooler" in the list of services, right click and select Stop, Start or Restart as required. Using the command prompt: Click on the start button, error printing select Run. In the run dialogue type "cmd" and click OK. In the command prompt type "net stop spooler" and press the Enter key to stop the spooler or "net start spooler" to start.
