It was working fine for 2-3 months, but now, majority of http://forums.dashhacks.com/psp-help/244652-500-pbp-not-found-root.html the games stop working (from memory or even from UMD). They come to the loading point, then PSP goes off. I tried formatting the memory, taking battery out,... nothing helps. I thougt, I could flash the psp http://www.maxconsole.com/threads/problem-in-slim-psp-need-your-help-pls.595/ with a new firmware, but when trying to update or recover using Hellcat's Recovery, I'm getting this error: PHP: Unassigningflashs....

Pandora Battery Install PSP Custom Firmware without a Pandora Battery Posted by sylv3rblade • July 18, 2009 • Homebrew, Playstation Portable • 192 CommentsThe usual way of installing custom firmware http://www.atmaxplorer.com/2009/07/convert-your-psp-to-custom-firmware-without-pandora-battery/ is to do it via Pandora Battery and that's where the problem begins. You have to HAVE a Pandora Battery in order to make one (which means https://forums.exophase.com/threads/release-recovery-flasher.8383/page-15 you need 2 batteries. One that's already a pandora battery and one that you want to convert to pandora). The easy way out of this is error reading simply buy a Pandora battery online. If however, you have a hackable PSP (one that can install custom firmware natively), you can install custom firmware without a Pandora Battery.Important: If you have a PSP-3000 or a PSP-2000s with TA-088v3 (and versions above it) DO NOT TRY THIS ON YOUR PSP. If you error reading 500.pbp do, congratulations, you now have a PSP paperweight. This method WILL BRICK your PSP. Also, if you're already on 5.50 ofw, then this guide won't work.
