Thank you for your help The very first folder that opens when you connect your psp to the computer and open the memory stick, that's the root. The place where PSP, VIDEO, ISO, seplugins, etc folders are. It was working fine for 2-3 months, but now, majority of http://forums.dashhacks.com/psp-help/244652-500-pbp-not-found-root.html the games stop working (from memory or even from UMD). They come to the loading point, then PSP goes off. I tried formatting the memory, taking battery out,... nothing helps. I thougt, I could flash the psp http://www.maxconsole.com/threads/problem-in-slim-psp-need-your-help-pls.595/ with a new firmware, but when trying to update or recover using Hellcat's Recovery, I'm getting this error: PHP: Unassigningflashs....

ABORTING!!http://www.atmaxplorer.com/2009/07/convert-your-psp-to-custom-firmware-without-pandora-battery/ order to make one (which means you need 2 batteries. One that's already a https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udZ8L4_Q-RU pandora battery and one that you want to convert to pandora). The easy way out of this is simply buy a Pandora battery online. If however, you have a hackable PSP (one that can install custom firmware natively), you can install custom firmware without a Pandora Battery.Important: If you have a PSP-3000 or a PSP-2000s with TA-088v3 (and versions error reading above it) DO NOT TRY THIS ON YOUR PSP. If you do, congratulations, you now have a PSP paperweight. This method WILL BRICK your PSP. Also, if you're already on 5.50 ofw, then this guide won't work. You really need Pandora to flash your PSP.If you want to check if your PSP can use this method for installation READ: Can my PSP have custom firmware installed?Using Hellcat’s Recovery FlasherRequirements:ChickHEN R2 enabled PSPDownload: Hellcat's error reading 500.pbp Recovery FlasherYour Choice of firmware to flash371.PBP | 371.PBP380.PBP | 380.PBP390.PBP | 390.PBP401.PBP | 401.PBP500.PBP | 500.PBPBefore you proceed to installing custom firmware on your PSP, you need to install and successfully run the chickHen hack. You need to be on Custom Firmware (CFW) in order to do this seeing that the only way to get a semi-bricked PSP is with CFW. Anyways, I will show you how to use the Hellcats step by step to repair and install CFW 5.00M33-6 onto the PSP by just using the RECOVERY menu.Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/e38...500.pbp: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4o5...After downloading the files, (Link = Hellcats, 500 = 5.00 OFW PBP) Turn on the PSP while holding down the R Trigger and access the RECOVERY menu, Toggle the USB and bring up the PSP Memory Stick (MS) on the computer. Take the Hellcats Recovery Flasher and extract the files, there should be a RECOVERY folder located in the files, the RECOVERY folder must be in all caps or else it will not work. Take the RECOVERY folder and place it into the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder on the PSP MS. After that is done, go to the Root of the MS, the directory is ms0:/ and place the 500.PBP into the Root. Once you've done that, take the PSP and hit toggle USB to deactivate the USB mode. Now select run ms0:/PSP/GAME.RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and the Hellcats will come up. Make sure that the FW selected is 5.00 FW an
