Top Error Reading the Authorware Web Player map file. by David Craddoc » Thu, 03 Jan 2002 23:06:19 This is likely an conflict between the user's plugin version and the version the authorware files were developed in. Check error reading the html page to see which version of the authorware plugin gets installed when the user has none (the CODEBASE= part). The problem come if it installs the default plugin (so called 'Complete' version) , which only plays Authorware 6 programs. If your program is developed in Authorware 5, then the user needs either the version 5 plugin or the error reading authorware 'Full' version 6 plugin, which gives the backwards compatibility.
