I've set it to the directory where I WANT the log file to go (just like the b3.log) but it wont create the file (like it does the b3.log file). What do I need to do?Thanks in advance! You are giving the location of where the log file exists for the game right? Your not expecting the b3 bot to make the log file right? It is not a file that B3 creates but it is a file that B3 reads. You should check your server configuration (of UrT) to see where it stored the log file. Note: I

I know there are a lot of tools out there, but I just need the explanation of the logfile. I already know about the infinityward error reading server command's page, but that's no good. Thanx for any help you can give me. I know the original post is old but I am looking for exactly the same information to use with CoD4 error reading file (as well as CoD2). Does anyone know I can find information about the format of the entires in games_mp.log so that I can write my own parser. I'm aware that there are tools like StatsGen and VSP but I'd like to write my own custom parser and just need to know how to interpret the games_mp.log file. Like the OP I've searched for any references but so far have come up empty. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Tnx! These are the guys (Hebbian, Delerium) who maintain Stativore, formerly ServerStat. They are currently in the process of updating it for CoD4 logs. I have been running the old ServerStat and now the renamed Stativore for several years, and their code parses the logfiles. They might be willing to part with the format of the logs, or, at least, give you a pointer. __________________ http://www.olddogvt.net OldDog View Public Profile Send a private message to OldDog Visit OldDog's homepage!
