Error Reading From Remote Server Returned
thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] I think those messages are normal for some typical situations when CVSNT is error reading from remote server returned by apache running properly. Do check the AV software like Bo suggests, also check for firewall software(???). Just a thought. Error Reading From Remote Server Returned By /microsoft-server-activesync
Over the weekend I added a second ML server to my network. I error reading packet from server changed the hostname on my original server from my FQDN to server1.domain.com. When I changed the hostname, the server created error reading response from server a new zone with a nameserver and machine record. I deleted those and added the proper information to my domain.com zone. I setup a secondary zone on my second server and everything http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/2003-August/008023.html was peachy. Now today I went in to change a CNAME record and DNS is all hosed up. In console it says it cannot load the zone file from db.domain.com.I'm getting these errors:Jul 10 20:38:27 server1.domain.com servermgrd[4118]: -[DNSManagerRRMgr bindZoneDB]: Unable to load zone database (RRs) for "domain.com" from file "db.domain.com": CNAME and other dataJul 10 20:38:27 server1.domain.com Server[3758]: Error: The server '127.0.0.1' reported an error https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5162078?start=0&tstart=0 while processing a command of type: 'readSettings' in plug-in: 'servermgr_dns'. Error: Error Domain=XSActionErrorDomain Code=1000 "An unknown error occurred" UserInfo=0x7fad23a24c90 {NSLocalizedDescription=An unknown error occurred}So it would appear that I entered something wrong but when I open my db.domain.com file in /var/named it looks fine.Any thoughts? There was indeed a rouge CNAME entry at the top of the db.domain.com file. Deleted that, restarted server.app and it works like a champ. Is the repository on your computer, another computer internal to your network, or across the Internet? (If it's not your computer, does it run Windows or another OS?) Have any recent network topology changes been made? Can you still do error reading from a fresh checkout from the server? –Arthur Shipkowski Sep 27 '10 at 23:00 2 Like Arthur, I think more details would be useful... Can you access the same repository from a different machine ? Can you try from a linux command line (you may be able to get more information about the error) ? –Matthieu Sep 28 '10 at 12:53 its a pserver style connection. The repository is across the internet and the server is running RedHat Linux. I am not sure if any network topology has changed. I can checkout and commit , only the update fails. –java_geek Oct 2 '10 at 14:52 add a comment| 5 Answers 5 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote Your anti-virus/firewall may be the problem here.
