I missing here ? shelley, Mar 3, 2004 #1 Sponsor eddie5659 Moderator Malware Specialist Joined: Mar 19, 2001 Messages: 29,800 Hiya Not fully sure, but aren't gz.tar files something to do with Linux? Like I say, may be wrong. I assume this is where you got them: http://search.cpan.org/dist/MIME-Lite/ Which one did you download? Was it the MIME-Lite-3.01_03 or MIME-Lite-3.01 at the top? Regards eddie eddie5659, Mar 3, 2004 #2 shelley Thread Starter Joined: Nov 14, 1999 Messages: 563 I think it's Unix but there wasn't an option to download any other way. I downloaded 3.01. I tried other builds with the same result. Maybe I need to upload the zipped file to the server and open it there, though I still don't know how to open it. shelley, Mar 3, 2004 #3 eddie5659 Moderator Malware Specialist Joined: Mar 19, 2001 Messages: 29,800 Ah, found out WinRar will unzip tar files: http://www.rarlab.com/ eddie eddie5659, Mar 3, 2004 #4 shelley Thread Starter Joined: Nov 14, 1999 Messages: 563 Thanks for the link, Eddie, but there must be another way to resolve this which doesn't mean spending $29! If it's just a case of finding a .tar unzipper then I guess I can make a search for a freebie. I thought it may be something else, like a setting in Winzip I'd missed, or some download corruption. shelley, Mar 3, 2004 #5 hewee Joined: Oct 26, 2001 Messages: 57,628 IZArc is free and will open .tar and many other formats. I downloaded inline-4.5.0.tar.tar onto my (windows xp) local pc, and tried to open it with the latest winzip. I https://forums.techguy.org/threads/resolved-opening-a-tar-file-with-winzip.208632/ get 'error reading header after processing 0 entries' Is there some other way I should obtain the module? I am hosted on a remote site - I had intended to get the module onto my local machine and ftp it across. I also tried to get the documentation, but it seemed to have the same name as the https://www.drupal.org/node/17809 module itself. As far as I know, there are cases in which browser prevents automatic open of a zip file. Try right clicking on the link to the file and choose 'save link as' the

The spurious suffix is not appended if the "save to disk" option is used instead, which is an apparent distinction from bug 176482. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to URL http://www.zope.org/Members/bowerymarc/mp3info-0.3.tgz 2. Indicate "open with [helper app (e.g., winzip)" 3. Note erronoeusly named file in temp directory Actual Results: helper app given wrong filename, unable to process. For winzip in particular, the error-message is the application-specific "Error reading header after processing 0 entries"; other helper apps may have different messages. Expected Results: passed correctly-named file to the helper app, which would open it correctly. Comment 1 zug_treno 2005-05-24 06:22:19 PDT Related to Core bug 144334?
