Description For testing I created a test transformation with data grid step with binary field with random data http://jira.pentaho.com/browse/PDI-13098 I grabbed from a binary file. When I want to run the transformation I get this Error: Error opening transformation Transformation failed to open: Error reading information from input stream Character reference "" is an invalid XML character. So spoon can save the transformation and as far as I can see the data is correctly xml masked. But the transformation http://jira.pentaho.com/browse/PDI-13233 cannot be loaded.... The worksheet you are trying to import contains cells with equations continaing the VLOOKUP function and cell references to other sheets in the error reading workbook. The attempt to import this worksheet results in the following error: >Error. Command name: GET DATA >(2063) Error reading information for sheet. >* Sheet Name: "test" >Execution of this command stops. Local fix IBM SPSS Statistics should be importing the results of the cell equation. The workaround for now is to open the workbook in Excel, error reading information select the entire range of data you wish to import -- including any column header information -- create a new sheet -- which can be in the same workbook -- and use Edit->Paste Special to paste only the Values into the new sheet. Save the result and then import the new sheet into Statistics instead.
