File ?dhcpd.conf? does'nt exists http://www.techrepublic.com/forums/discussions/dhcp-problem/ in the ?/etc? directory so I copied from ?/etc/log.d/conf/services? directory to the ?/etc? directory by simply dragging it using the command ?cp/etc/log.d/conf/services/dhcpd.conf /etc? doesn't responds as there occurs an error that your destination is missing. I used rpm -qa dhcp* and it replied as dhcpv6_client-0.10-13This has dhcpd.conf, v 1.5 2005/02/24. chkconfig dhcpd on resultserror reading info on service dhcpd: No such file or directory. So the problem lies in the fact how to edit it and make it operable. It looks like yours would be /etc/dhcp6, but I'm not certain. 0Votes Share Flag Collapse - Ew... FC by deity_c

, as the message after installation says, the script 'thin' is installed into /etc/rc.d
. And if we want thin
to be installed as a service, the script must be put into init.d
. Maybe you can read the scripts under init.d
for more information. Sorry for my pool English:) –光源凪 Jan 2 '12 at 15:36 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
