Error Reading Ird Dcu Peek
2005 - 03:21 GMTthis is the first time I have to jtag my receiver it's a pansat 2500A clone, using jKeys 2.9.11 and I get Error reading from IRD (DCU Peek). Tried it on 2 different PCs, after doing a lot of reading some people found that the problem has something to do with grounding. I'm not sure if that's what I'm missing and if it is I'd appreciate somebody telling me how to do that with my receiver(It has a built-in 10-pin header). Thanks ... « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Facebook Tweet Home Video Forums 3D TV Forum Cable TV Forum DVD Players Forum DVD Recorders Forum DVR Forum HDTV Forum Plasma & LCD TV Forum Projection Screens Forum Projection TV Forum Projectors Forum Satellite TV Forum TV Forum Video Converters Forum Video Scalers Forum Video Streaming Forum Main Forums Today's Posts Home Audio Forum Home Video Forum Home Theater Forum Car Audio Forum All Forum Topics Forum Help Forgot Password Logout Register Rules Shortcodes Troubleshooting Announcements Your Account Follow Us Facebook Google+ Twitter @ecoustics Copyright © eCoustics, LLC 1999-2016 About Us | Contact Us | Privacy

Are you using a buffered or non buffered jtag? sc0user, Sep 28, 2007 #3 eamo32 Regular member Joined: Apr 4, 2007 Messages: 601 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 You say you have "also tried jkeys", so I take it you were using SkyMax. Did you set the Adr Flash to 2Mb? Did you try to power on the box after the failed flash? It's a long time since I jtag'ged mine, but if I remember right, it told me it had failed, and it actually worked. I could of course be wrong about that, as I said, it was a long time ago. Having said that, the box is still working perfectly, for now. eamo32, Sep 28, 2007 #4 Weesol Member Joined: Oct 24, 2007 Messages: 3 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 I'am also having this problem, I am using a un-buffered Jtag cable,i power off (via the 3 different ways) and power on within 3 secs on jkeys i get - "Error reading IRD (DCU Peek)" Jkeys also gets the Device ID "0x1d405041" and Device "STi5518MVB-X" on Skymax i get (ive used both Versions) - "Init JTAG IDCODE : FFFFFFFF Fail DCU, Plesae Restart or Reset CPU Box" the solder seems to be fine no cross wires etc.
