show title 1) also windows pixelated/scrambled/grainy/jagged libdvdcss.dll libdvdcss-2.dll vlc May 11, 2011 rogerdpack 5 Comments For me this meant "you are using a disney dvd movie, which apparently has stronger encryption, so you need a newer version [?] of libdvdnav, so copy libdvdnav.dll from XBMC into your HandBrake folder" (to install libdvdcss.dll first (see below), then twice "re-select" the DVD from the drop down menu-then magically it works from then on. Not sure why, though. see https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16670#p78021 This is, coincidentally, the way to get handbrake to run with the equivalent of just "VLC" (free) installed.
