stepped into an error. It could just not start, and while using radiusd -X to start freeradius in debug mode, it let me know what the problem was, but I was just not able to understand it. Finally found the solution. Freeradius error These are the most important lines that radiusd -X put http://freeradius.1045715.n5.nabble.com/Re-Hello-Alan-td2782458.html on the screen. rlm_eap: SSL error error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0) rlm_eap_tls: Error loading randomness rlm_eap: Failed to initialize type tls /etc/raddb/eap.conf[17]: Instantiation failed for module "eap" /etc/raddb/sites-enabled/inner-tunnel[236]: Failed to load module "eap". /etc/raddb/sites-enabled/inner-tunnel[189]: Errors parsing authenticate section. Solution The whole problem was that the file /etc/raddb/certs/random http://go2linux.garron.me/linux/2011/06/etcraddbeap-conf17-instantiation-failed-module-eap-1091.html were not present, and all I needed to do was to create it. dd if=/dev/urandom of=./random count=10 All solved.
