However, I am having issues setting it up through our Cisco firewall. I've specified ports 4000-4005 in IIS Data Channel Port Range and opened ports on Cisco for 20,21 and 4000-4005. I get 234 AUTH command ok. Expecting TLS negotiation. Error reading secure data from the server. No Response from server... What elsecan I do other then opening 64000 ports between 1000-65535 ? I've also tried to put in the external IP for the FTP Server in the External IP Address of Firewall in FTP Firewall Support but can't seem to make it work. If you read the following article, you will notice that firewall settings play an important role here. http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/309/configuring-ftp-firewall-settings/ External IP for the FTP server has its usage, but based on your test, it does not help here. My guess (according to the above article) is that this Cisco firewall filters out FTPS packets. You may install Microsoft Network Monitor (or Wireshark) on both the client and server sides to capture traffic when this problem recurs. That can give up more information about the FTPS conversation.
