The nuget package should set up the references you need. Does some other project you are referencing also use SharpZipLib. You might also try the new portable class library based version (not on nuget yet)https://github.com/ExcelDataReader/ExcelDataReader/tree/f-portable This does not have a dependency on SharpZipLib. I have always wondered what's the optimum size for the read buffer on a modern Windows XP computer. I googled and found many examples which had 1024 as the optimum size. Here is a snippet of what I mean: long pointer = 0; buffer = new byte[1024]; // What's a good size here ? while (pointer < input.Length) { pointer += input.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length); } My application is fairly simple, so I error reading stream am not looking to write any benchmarking code, but would like to know what sizes are common? .net windows performance share|improve this question edited Oct 12 '09 at 0:08 Peter Mortensen 10.2k1369107 asked Oct 11 '09 at 23:44 Andrew Keith 6,2861536 It may be helpful: stackoverflow.com/questions/19558435/… –Amir Pournasserian Nov 7 '13 at 13:34 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 7 down vote accepted A 1k buffer size seems a bit small. Generally, there is no "one size fits all" buffer size. You need to set a buffer size that fits the behavior of your algorithm. Now, generally, its not a good idea to have a really huge buffer, but, having one that is too small or not in line with how you process each chunk is not that great either. If you are simply reading data one chunk after another entirely into memory before processing it, I would use a larger buffer. I would probably use 8k or 16k, but probably not larger. On the other hand, if you are processing the data in streaming fashion, reading a chunk then processing it before reading the next, smaller buffers might be more useful. Even better, if you are streaming data that has structure, I would change the amount of data read to specifically matc

I went back again in need of it and basically had to re-join all parts ... For future reference of all, here I leave it all together and modified. This library "mmc sd.c" and "fat.c" works perfectly with the "ex_fat.c" Based on the following topics (a thank you to all who participated): CCS FAT driver bugfix! - http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43417 CCS SD/MMC driver MBR support - http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43402&highlight=mmc MMC SD libraries - yap this topic again - https://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=52738&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 problem with FAT.c functions - http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=51594 mmcsd.c and fat.c - https://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31399 etc.....
