Many Reflex plane downloads simply do not work. When choosing the model "ERROR READING MODEL APPEARANCE DATA FILE" is displayed. Manually choosing the model appearance and sound does not work either. I'm ready to give up on these. There are a lot of 3rd party model files that just don't work. I've never heard an explanation as to why someone would publish a model that deosn't work, could it be that it has fallen foul of upgrades to the host software. Andy. After you click on the model you want, you have to make sure it is in the model appearance, on some 3rd party models it won't go in there (same with the sound). If the mod file is abt. 500 to 1.000 KB only, they are made for version 5.02. Some models are available made with the new RMK using the compressed data file. Update to 5.02 and see if they work in that version. Oct 07, 2005, 04:37 PM #6 Spaghetti Bender Spaghetti Bender Registered User Joined Sep

März 2008, 11:05 OK. Try this. After you have tried to select the model you want, Click on MODEL from dropdown menu. Then click on Modify Model Panarameters. Go down to Model Appearence, click on the little down arrow to the right and a list all the models in your Reflex should appear. The one you want should be there if you have installed it in the correct folder[Heli or Flugzeug(aeroplanes)]. This is a common problem with newly installed or modified[with RMK] models. It will select and fly first off, but later it looses it MOD[appearence] file setting. Could be just a bad download sometimes. But if its from this site[Downloads] there should be no problem, as they are very careful. Dieser Beitrag wurde bereits 2 mal editiert, zuletzt von »kencol« (5.
