bad) I've tried reloading the oids in zenoss. All the errors are from routers, so I can't reinstall there. The OIDs that are complained about come from EXTREME.MIB and IF.MIB An snmpwalk to the OID on the router gives back a correct value. restarted zenperfsnmp and all of zenoss I updated from rpm on a RHEL5 server. Any ideas what more I can try? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18202#18202 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list zenoss-users@zenoss.org http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users Previous message View by thread View by date Next message [zenoss-users] Error reading value (oid is bad) darkis [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading value (oid is bad) snarkout [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading value (oid is bad) makemorebeer [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading value (oid is b... makemorebeer [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading value (oid ... magnachef [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading value ... sbrownian [zenoss-users] Re: Error reading va... snarkout [zenoss-users] Re: Error readin... sbrownian [zenoss-users] Re: Error readin... darkis [zenoss-users] Re: Error readin... snarkout [zenoss-users] Re: Error readin... makemorebeer Reply via email to Search the site The Mail Archive home zenoss-users - all messages zenoss-users - about the list Expand Previous message Next message The Mail Archive home Add your mailing list FAQ Support Privacy 1207633418.m2f.18202@community.zenoss.com

This Topic Author Topic » missing OID customink Posted: 07-Nov-0711:58 Edit Mail Profile i've gotten http://www.wtcs.org/cgi-bin/teemz/teemz.cgi?board=_master&action=opentopic&topic=167&forum=SNMP_Informant__General snmp informant installed and working with zenoss, but i'm missing a hard drive paging http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.monitoring.zenoss.user/40190 OID (.1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.2.10). i've got .1 through .18, but for some reason .10 won't work on any of our user stations. does work on my testing vm and our laptops.the first thing i thought of was group policy, but i've tried different groups, including moving machines into groups that are working (ie laptops).i feel like error reading this has to be something small...probably on the client machine, but i just can't figure it out. any ideas??btw, i'm running Tembria SNMP brower (verson 0.9.0 beta) as a mib browser. customink Posted: 08-Nov-0710:01 Delete Edit Mail Profile update on previous issue...if i run snmpwalk -v1 -c public

This OID is bad. The query expects the OID return to be identical to what you sent. Many times you have to add a .0 to the end of a query as well to get a valid response. -------------------------------------------------------------- To post a reply to the thread message, either reply to this email (recommended) or visit the message page: http://community.zenoss.org/message/55841#55841 --end-- CD: 3ms
