Error Reading Value For Sscpurawwait
so I get:Error reading value for "ANYPACKAGE" on sw-hk-dh1-S400 (oid .some.OID.I.got.loaded.on.the.system is bad)I've tried reloading the oids in zenoss. All the errors are from routers, so I can't reinstall there. The OIDs that are complained about come from EXTREME.MIB and IF.MIBAn snmpwalk to the OID on the router gives back a correct value.restarted zenperfsnmp and all of zenossI updated from rpm on a RHEL5 server.Any ideas what more I can try?-------------------- m2f --------------------Read this topic online here:http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18202#18202-------------------- m2f -------------------- snarkout 2008-04-08 15:39:02 UTC PermalinkRaw Message This apparently is because these errors were always present but were only recently "revealed" to the user - they're reappearing after every remodeling. Use the search function and you'll find several similar threads - basically it comes down to having to setup new device templates that are named exactly the same as the "type" of interface you are monitoring that do not contain the bad oids zenoss is complaining about.Basically, to do this:Under classes go to "devices" and then the templates tabPut a check next to ethernetcsmacdChoose "copy templates" and choose / as the location (or wherever appropriate)click on the "copy of" template and rename it *exactly* the type if interface you're getting the reports on and click saveremove the oids you are getting "bad" reports onprofit (ok, sorry, couldn't resist)That has worked for about half a dozen interface types I'm monitoring - to accelerate the reappearance of the errors, just remodel the device.-------------------- m2f --------------------Read this topic online here:http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=18230#18230-------------------- m2f -------------------- makemorebeer 2008-04-08 20:47:46 UTC PermalinkRaw Message alright so i tried to follow your instructions and i gues si got lost. i think this may not be the same thingcomponent eventClass summary firstTime lastTime countmemBuffer /Perf/Snmp Error
