reading bood CD" with Reboot as the only option. When I reboot and try to run Ubuntu, I get the same error again. I tried burning it on a DVD with teh same error, I then tried at slower ubuntu io error reading boot cd burn speeds with the same error. Last I tried burning it as RAW with the same error reading boot configuration data error. The hardware is a Gateway laptop. I'm not sure what to do next. I can't get past this error. The CD then ran fine. I don't know why my home burner didn't work, but suspect it was because it's a HD DVD player also. Just a guess on my part. I wish you good luck.
