I used Visual FoxPro ODBC Driver instead and this solved the problem. I also used following connection string "Driver={Microsoft Visual FoxPro Driver};SourceType=DBF;Exclusive=No;Collate=Machine;NULL=NO;DELETED=YES;BACKGROUNDFETCH=NO;SourceDB=yourFile.dbf" Download link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vfoxpro/bb190233.aspxMy Blog - MSDN Complement By Providing Visual C# Walkthroughs and Sample Codes - Founded In February 24, 2010 Tuesday, April 06, 2010 7:06 AM Reply | Quo

The error reason is due to data that is being processed exceeding a long object limit of 1000 chars. This was set as a limit in the parameters of the universe. Limit size of long text objects to 1000 was ticked. unticked this, re exported the universe and restarted connection server. everything ok now Back to top Display posts from previous: All Posts1 Day7 Days2 Weeks1 Month3 Months6 Months1 YearOldest FirstNewest First Register or Login to Post Forum Index -> Building Reports -> Desktop Intelligence Page 1 of 1 All times are GMT - 5 Hours Select a search Explain These Choices... --------------------Recent Topics (All Forums) Unanswered Posts Jump to:Select a forumBusinessObjects Software------------------------------------General DiscussionBuilding Reports•Legacy Crystal Products•Crystal Reports•Desktop Intelligence•WebIntelligence 1.x/2.x•WebIntelligence Version 6•

I have gotten as far as opening the connection programmatically from asp.net code. The problem occurs when I try to open the table in to populate my datatable, I get the following error: ----------------------------------------------------------------------Error-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ERROR [S1000] [Microsoft][ODBC Visual FoxPro Driver]Cannot open file \\sirs_csr\csr3\data\student.dbf.
