Jul 05, 2010 10:05 AM|mcr_subbu|LINK Hi all, I have registered keys in the registry for impersonation for my application (asp.net 2.0 running in IIS 7.0) My keys are created under "wow6432node" When I am trying to browse the web page it is giving "Error reading configuration information from the registry" error. I gave permissions for NETWORK SERVICE, MACHINE\ASPNET account and then did iisreset.I have read most of the threads and applied solutions. But still no luck. Is the encryption option applicable to asp.net 2.0? (It supports 1.1) Please help me in solving the issue.
