Environment variables below that don't specify specific values are enabled when set to any value. proxy-sendextracrlf Causes proxy to send an extra CR-LF newline on the end of a request. This is a workaround for a bug in some browsers. force-proxy-request-1.0 Forces the proxy to send requests to the backend as HTTP/1.0 and disables HTTP/1.1 features. proxy-nokeepalive Forces the proxy to close the backend connection after each request. proxy-chain-auth If the proxy requires authentication, it will read and consume the proxy authentication credentials sent by the client. With proxy-chain-auth it will also forward the credentials to the next proxy in the chain. This may be necessary if you have a chain of proxies that share

My dilemma: Everything works fine normally (fast requests, few seconds or few tens of seconds long requests are processed ok). Problems occur when request processing takes long (few minutes?). If I issue request instead directly to Jetty at port :8080 the request is processed OK. So problem is likely to sit somewhere between Apache and Jetty where I am using mod_proxy. How to solve this? I have already tried some "tricks" related to KeepAlive settings, without luck. timeout specified has expired: proxy: error reading status line from remote server10-1Hendrik MeiffertFeb 06, 2014Since this morning I receive this error : (70007)The timeout specified has https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/259235/having-error-70007the-timeout-specified-has-expired-proxy-error-reading-status-line-from-remote-server expired: proxy: error reading status line from remote server I am using a Confluence Standalone version and we didn't change anything in our apache configuration. The other pages of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=632407 that server are all running. Can it be connected to the current problems on atlassian.confluence.com? I mean for example the addons etc are connected to them even though error reading we have a standalone version. Any ideas how to fix this problem ? I already put up the timeout etc. without success like this : Keepalive=On retry=1 acquire=3000 timeout=600 proxytimeout 5400 timeout 5400

My guess is that the confluence instance is not responding. If you have access to the server, check if there is confluence process running? Also check the logs, if you see anything like OutOfMemory, DiskFull etc, can all be symptoms of a crashed confluence. > Can it be connected to the current problems on atlassian.confluence.com? I mean for example the addons etc are connected to them even though we have a standalone version. No, your addons are installed locally. Only checks for updates go there, and that wont break you if its down.CommentAndy Brook [The Plugin People]Feb 06, 2014depends onhow you installed it, there could be a script called from /etc/rc.local, or aservice in /etc/init.d/ "ps -ef | grep java" will list the java processes, check confluence isnt still running. Id be a little uncomfortable telling you how to kill processes
