You should be able to repair it. If the repair fails then it's a sign that the table is very corrupted, you have no choice but to restore it from backups. If you have other systems (e.g. non-production with same software versions and schema) with an identical table then you might be able to fix it with some hackery (copying the frm an MYI files, followed by a repair). In essence, the trick is to avoid getting broken tables in the first place. This means always shutting your db down cleanly, never having it crash and never having hardware or power problems. In practice this isn't very likely, so if durability matters you may want to consider a more crash-safe storage engine. share|improve this answer answered Mar 12 '10 at 7:41 MarkR 46.1k886118 add a comment| up vote 31 down vote You must change the location of MySQL's temporary folder which is '/tmp' in most cases to a location with a bigger disk space. Change it in MySQL's config file. Basically your server is running out of disk space where /tmp is located. share|improve th

SFC showed the ff. message after I ran it: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log." Since the CBS.log file is too large, I ran findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt" (as per Microsoft's KB 928228 article) to only get the log text pertaining to the corrupt files. (log is also posted below) How do I troubleshoot and repair the corrupted files mentioned by sfc /scannow? My OS is Windows 7, 64-bit. chkdsk log sfc /scannow log (through findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >"%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt") Note: The full log is at http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=gTEGZmWj . So I tried. Note that my .kdp file is in my Dropbox folder, so I can easily revert to older version. However, that did not help.So I then thought that I may got the wrong password (I don't open KeePassX that often, only for websites that I don't remember the password). After trying every error repair passwords I use and some typo variations, I came to this conclusion : my .key file must be corrupted. My .key file is on my USB key. I guess it could have been corrupted. But I do not have a backup for this file.Anything I can do about this? Can I re-generate the key file if I know the database name and associated password?? So I used dropbox again to fetch my latest kdb file (the one that didn't want to open this morning). Now it works. I'm not sure what was wrong in the first place.Maybe it's a dropbox issue, or KeePass / KeePassX issue. I have not idea, but this freaked me out. I'm still debating wheter or not I should use this kind of software anymore. It showed me that, if for any reason (logical or not) it stops to work, you may very well be screwed :S Top Davepar KPX user Posts: 1 Joined: 06 Feb 2010, 05:27 Re: Key is wrong or the file is damaged Quote Postby Davepar » 06 Feb 2010, 05:29 Had a near panic in the same situation. I think something got messed up when I had my KeePass file open in Ubuntu (via KeePassX) and regular KeePass on Windows. I had to go back a few versions, so lost some recently added passwords.Warning to others. Keep a backup if you're using Dropbox to synchronize.
