What you need to do is use your domains email server as both the incoming and outgoing server (you will need to put a tick in my outgoing server requires authentication and use your email account details) Our server is setup to check that kind of thing and knows that only people using your domain's email server together with their username and password can send mail on behalf of your domain because otherwise anyone could send email and just change the from address to yourname@yourdomain and to the untrained eye it would look like it was sent by you – a well setup server checks this kind of thing to ensure that email is coming from the correct server and not from someone who is sending out spam and using your email address as the from address. Mail servers do a wide variety of checks one example is checking if the MX record for a domain (mx = mail server record) is the correct mail server that is sending mail on behalf of that domain – so take for example you send an email using your NTL SMTP ser
