This situation arose when you installed different programs that included updated versions of Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files with the same name as files already on the system. These duplicate files would wreak havoc with applications and the operating system. For example, an application would look for a specific version of a DLL file, but find a newer version that was recently updated by another program. Leave the other radio button unchecked next to the text labeled, 'But notify me when critical errors occur' Click OK. Clearing the folder will not help. Windows will rebuild it on next reboot. Oh wait, before I posted this message I tried clearing the Dr. Watson log but it only listed 10 items. Anyway, I just checked now, the first time I've been back on the computer and a reboot, it appears the entire list is gone. Guess you can clear it via Dr. Watson inside of System Information. Does that sound right? #
