I cant find anything online saying how to configure it on Windows 7. Also is there maybe aseparateapplication that https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc709644(v=ws.10).aspx does this? FYI,they now call it WER instead of CER and the setting is called "Configure Corporate Windows Error Reporting" Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Error Reporting > Advanced Error Reporting Settings https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/1f9d9024-5805-4bf3-88d5-84c30393059f/corporate-error-reporting?forum=w7itproinstall > Configure Corporate Windows Error Reporting Here is some reading. http://sourcedaddy.com/windows-7/configuring-wer-using-group-policy.html Don't forget to mark your posts as answered so they drop off the unanswered post filter. (Desktop Error Monitoring). DEM became known as SCDEM (based on a cut down version of SCOM), and was rolled into the MDOP bundle. I think SCDEM is now discontinued/no longer offered with MDOP? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/enterprise/products-and-technologies/mdop/default.aspx http://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/userights/ProductPage.aspx?pid=4010Don (Please take a moment to "Vote as Helpful" and/or "Mark as Answer", where applicable. By ZDNet | March 11, 2002, 12:00 AM PST RSS Comments Facebook Linkedin Twitter More Email Print Reddit Delicious Digg Pinterest Stumbleupon Google Plus By Larry SeltzerThere was a minor stink in the press a few months ago when someone noticed that Office XP's and IE's Error Reporting features windows error reporting sent a partial memory dump to Microsoft as part of an error report. To anyone who's ever debugged a program, this was a pretty obvious thing. If you actually read the messages in the Error Reporting dialogs, it's pretty hard to miss the fact, but there's a valid concern nonetheless. Because the memory dump may include parts of the document you were editing, it may have confidential information in it.That's why Microsoft created Corporate Error Reporting (CER), an application in the Office XP Resource Kit that lets you send those error reports to one of your own servers instead of to Microsoft's.You can also filter out parts of the information from all or specific crashes and then send what's left to Microsoft. Why would you do this? Two reasons: First, Microsoft looks at the crashes and may respond with references to knowledge base articles and downloads that may help you to resolve them. Second, it's just good for everyone that Microsoft have lots of information about why Windows and Windows applications crash, because it gives Microsoft ways to improve the products. Don't care? You don't have to send the data.Server setup isn't a snapCER looks like it was developed for internal use and "productized" (sorry for the blatant marketing term) mostly
