Then i tried all avi files, but with the same error popped up. These avi files worked fine before. Do you know what the problem is and how to solve it? This may happen with DiVX and a few other such formats. RAM preview will only display frames according to - umm - how much RAM you have. So 2-3 seconds must mean you don't have that much. You can preview longer ranges by setting the comp resolution to half or lower, however. Mylenium CGTalk Moderation12-05-2005, 04:0
have what I guess I will say is a very large video wall (not exactly, but its close enough). I currently have 64 videos on the wall, and it's only about half full so far. My main composition currently consists of 210 layers http://www.verycomputer.com/322_9a3fa3906665493c_1.htm (I managed to move about 100 or so other layers into precomps). When I use a camera that shows the entire scene at once, like the Front camera, a certain section of my project will throw this error: After Effects https://ffmpeg.org/pipermail/libav-user/2012-July/002540.html error: retrieving frame from video stream.
