" The thing is, I have already checked provisions and my user has all the rights, Tried logging in without giving a domain name, Tried reconfiguring ( with & without deregistering) and still struck with it. Can anyone think of anything that I might /should try before I uninstall everythign and reinstalling it. And another problem am facing at the moment is, Even though I have Deleted Hyperion from my control panel and deleted it from registry directory, I still end up finding Analytic Services Server(EAS) and Essbase Client (both of these are not required for HFM) in my control panel, And after installing foundation services (yet again), I find that my list is showing all hyperion products and they are all in green(already configured). Any suggestions/ Advise would be highly regarded. Thanks all. Please verify that a project exists." It's my first installation of Hyperion System9. All components are placed on the same host (including the repository database). Shared Services installed successfully. I can manage projects, an essbase server app. But HFM has no presents in project list (or unassigned https://community.oracle.com/thread/1015350 Applications node). It's like HFM does not see repository database. But registering HFM with Shared Services was completed successfully with no error or warning messages. Can you suggest, what should I check to solve the problem?Scoring disabled. Look for the UDL file (normally in the HyperionFinancialManagement or Server Working Folderand 'Test Connection' If this is successful, is the demo app installed ok? This is normally STAT, and set up by the tech who does the install. You do not say if you are installing or on an already installed environment. Otherwise, Are you using an ID with full Admin rights? Have you spoken to Support? they can do a GoToAssist and check your specific settings - it does sound more like a Shared Services and permissions issue. Good luckScoring disabled. So I added the following code. SPSecurity.RunWithElevatedPrivileges( delegate() { using (SPSite thisSite = new SPSite(SPContext.Current.Site.Url)) { SPServiceContext serviceContext = SPServiceContext.GetContext(thisSite); UserProfileManager mgr = new UserProfileManager(serviceContext, true); users.Text += "The total number of user profiles available: " + mgr.Count; } } ); When I run the code, I got the following error. Access Denied: Only an administrator may retrieve a count of all users. The code that is running under RunWithElevatedPrivilages thrown access denied error. So I decided to check whether my application pool identity has enough permission for user profile service application. From central administration site, under application management navigate to Manage service applications. In the service applications page, Select the user profile service application row and click administrators from the top menu. In the administrators list, I was able to see the application pool identity and found the application pool identity have full access to user profiles. This created some confusion in me, is there any problem with RunWithElevatedPrivileges? After some hours of search in the internet, it
