each followed by an Execute Process Task. Each pair is linked but the five pairs are independent (hope this makes sense). The first pair executed successfully but the other four all failed error script failed config wizard with the "Script files failed to load" error. Anyone have a clue why this might happen or what I might change to solve the problem? The package is scheduled under SS Agent so I'm currently thinking of taking these steps out of SSIS and putting them into the job. Not ideal but at least I can have some confidence that it will work. Any suggestions error script failed plexbmc would be very welcome. This will *hopefully* recompile the binary code and the problem *should* go away. If not, there may be something else going on here. -Jamie Marked as answer by Bob BojanicOwner Thursday, April 30, 2009 5:36 PM Friday, February 24, 2006 9:12 AM Reply | Quote Moderator All replies 0 Sign in to vote Go into the script tasks, click "Design Script...", when VBA opens close it down again. I'll give it a try but I suspect it may be a "something else". If I copy the dtsx package to another machine and run it through dtexec the problem doesn't occ

These packages run fine locally, and run fine on a development and a QA server. On the production server, 1 runs fine and 2 fail with the ominous "Cannot load script for execution" error. These are SQL 2008 R2 environments on Server 2008 SP2. The error happens regardless of error script failed the user who runs them. So far I have tried the following: Run the package in my dev environment with the database connections pointing to production (runs fine) Set Run64BitRuntime to false in project setting. Made no difference. Deleted the package and redeployed it Given explicit write access to /Windows/Temp as suggested here. This did initially happen when running with a proxy user, sowe tried this fix. But I get the same error when running with my admin account. I cannot recompile the script on the production server because the development stack is not there and it is a production server. I can also not install or update BIDS on this server as proposed here. It seems that somehow it might be required to recompile the script on the target environment, based on what some people have found, but I don't have this option. ssis share|improve this question edited Mar 2 '13 at 20:39 Kyle Hale 5,83011946 asked Mar 1 '13 at 19:53 cdonner 21.7k1578133 It does not matter if it runs as an agent job or directly with the execute package utility. Same error. The property is set to 32bit, though. –cdonner Mar 1 '13 at 20:18 I appreciate your effort, but the script does not compile/load, so this is not a runtime issue. It has to do with secu
