Solution 2: Restore permissions to licensing folders Applies to : Creative Cloud Creative Suite CS5 Creative Suite CS5.5 Creative Suite CS6 Configuration error when starting a CC or CS application When you launch a Creative Cloud (CC) or Creative Suite (CS) application, you get a configuration error 15 or 16 that asks you to uninstall or reinstall the product. This error means that permissions to application folders are set incorrectly. Solution 1: (Windows) Launch the Creative Cloud app with Administrator rights Complete these steps only once to create licensing files that may be missing. Click Start > All Programs. Right-click the Creative Cloud application and click Run as administrator. Note: In Windows 10, click Start > All apps. Right-click the Creative Cloud application, and then click More > Run as administrator.
