This is an OKI C6150N, directly connected to PC via USB port. This file was origianally on Artboard 2. Artboard 1 (similar design) printed fine, Artboard 2 had the error. I created a new file with one Artboard, retyped the text, copied

Re: Offending Command Stack error Mylenium Jun 6, 2010 10:39 AM (in response to katherinereece) This is not related to AI. These are printer errors with wrong PostScript being used. so in short: The printer driver is at fault here. If for whatever reason it cannot print vectors correctly natively, force it to print al ldata as bitmap.Mylenium Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. The error can be caused by numerous things such as missing dictionaries, imported graphics, data corruption, communication problems or missing PostScript header information. You xerox error undefined offending command stack can also try to copy and paste all elements to a new file. If the document was converted from a previous version of an application, try printing again from https://forums.adobe.com/thread/654045 that version. A strange word as an offending command: Sometimes a RIP generates an ‘undefined' PostScript error, with an offending command ‘bspt' or another randomly chosen kind of technical term like ‘fob' of ‘xtrfx'. Such errors indicate that the RIP tries to execute a command that has not been defined in the PostScript file. In a lot of cases, https://www.prepressure.com/postscript/troubleshooting/errors/undefined PostScript error "undefined" issues are caused by incorrect drivers: PostScript drivers that are corrupted or that are vendor-specific (eg you try printing to a Tectronix printer using an HP driver) PPDs that are too old or too new. PPDs that should be used for another device. Some applications that put themselves in-between your application and the RIP can also cause this kind of a problem: try printing without passing through a spooler or OPI-system. Use another imposition software or try to avoid using your trapping software. Sometimes the name of the offending command indicates which application is causing the problem. I remember a customer who by accident had deleted a number of PostScript files from his Preps folder. Subsequently Preps kept generating ‘undefined' errors because its printfiles lacked the necessary code. We found this rather quick because the offending command started with ‘SS' or so, something that we linked to ScenicSoft, the makers of Preps. Make sure you have the most current drivers installed, then try again. If that does not work, try printing on another printer. 0 Cayenne OP Mike6051 Aug 24, 2012 at 11:57 UTC this link may help you track it error undefined offending down. http://www.prepressure.com/postscript/troubleshooting/errors/undefined But it doesn't look like it has listed a valid command "jcv'q4uh" so you might have some trial and error to fix it. It could be just something simple like print the pdf in 3 or 4 pages at a time rather then just print, because it is running out of memory trying to hold all the info. Could also be a font not downloading correctly, or corrupted when it embedded. Try to print the page it is offended by , by itself, see if you still get the errror. It could also be the content on the page itself that the printer is cliching on. Many things to look at. Trial and error. 0 Anaheim OP Chris2095 Aug 27, 2012 at 7:22 UTC Printing a few at a time seems ok, just impractical as this particular print job requires thousands. I printed ten and 2 were bad. Sometimes it can go 100 or 200 with only a couple bad ones. 0 Poblano OP geekcrazy Nov 7, 2012 at 4:46 UTC 1st Post I have this same issue and seems to be related to the PS driver, though this is occurring on our Qube9301. 0

Also affects distribution/package Nominate for series Bug Description This is probably related to bug #960666 but is when trying to print to an HP LaserJet 4050. When trying to print graphics (I have tried both from Geany and from Document Viewer (viewing a PDF), the printer prints a blank page and then a page with the text: ERROR: invalidaccess OFFENDING COMMAND: filter STACK: /SubFileDecode endstream 0 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 11 false (above was when trying to print from geany) but I think the PDF printed the same text. This printer worked perfectly in the previous 3 versions of Xubuntu but I get this error in Xubuntu 12.04, so I know it's not a printer problem. Interestingly, the Ubuntu test page prints perfectly. What is actually the difference between the output of Ghostscript and Poppler? Why do all printers just work with Poppler's output? cliddell (cjl) wrote on 2012-05-14: #2 I can't answer that. I can say that Ghostscript's ps2write output is valid Level 2 Postscript - in other words, it is compliant with the language defined in the Adobe Postscript Language Reference Manual Edition 2. And not especially challenging Postscript, either. Let me ask this: if gcc fails to compile C code that is demonstrably compliant with the C89 spec (for example), is that the fault of the coder who wrote the failing code, or a bug in gcc? None of the issues that have arisen so far have highlighted any problem with our Postscript output. And did poppler's output always "ju
