Please try to open it in Control Panel and let me know if we cannot to do so. Since this issue can be caused by runtime error this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way corrupted system files, please try following commands to repair Windows: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth SFC /scannow Then if the issue still persists, let's re-register modern style apps configuration files and check the issue: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} For further, let's determine which certain file or program dllhost.exe is trying to index: a. Download and unzip Process Explorer from Microsoft. Process Explorer http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx b. Start Process Explorer (procexp.exe) c. In the View menu, check "Show Lower Pane" d. Find dllhost.exe in the list of running processes and click on it. e. File or program should be listed in the lower pane as a "File". That's the corruptone dllhost is trying and failing to index. Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help, and unmark the answers if they provide no help.
