Trying to make a DDP does the same.Writing a basic audio CD does work though. My system works fine with WL6 .. Win7 64bit.Support says "trash Wavelab and Cubase pref folders" but that did nothing. Now is weekend. No support, 2 very unhappy paying(?) customers..Please help! thanks,Marc Marc Broer New Member Posts: 9Joined: Sat Apr 09, 2011 http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6946 9:39 am Hasthanked: 0 time Beenthanked: 0 time Private messageWebsite Top Reply with quote Re: ERROR when trying to write CD/DDP from montage by PG » Sat Apr 09, 2011 11:03 am Strange. Try with a very simple montage, 1 CD track, without any plugin. Try to render it first, to file, to verify that this stage works. Then try to burn. A logfile or something? The "Check CD conformity" button says all is okay...The client needs this master, what to do?Thanks again,Marc Marc Broer New Member Posts: 9Joined: Sat Apr 09, 2011 9:39
Wavelab Discussion in 'Recording' started by thedug, Sep 1, 2003. thedug Guest I create and audio mantage click on the cd tab and click on edit cd text. I enter titles for each song and the composer field. Then burn the disc, but nothing shows up in winamp or other players. Any ideas? d./ thedug, Sep 1, 2003 #1 launchpad67a Guest Hi D, Some/Most players don't display Cd text, including Windows media, Winamp, ect... Windows Media Player, Winamp need to be connected to the internet to "lookup" song titles. I know your thinking, "But it's Printed on the CD", well it is, but the display function on these players is not designed to read this. Only look up titles on the web, which is bogus. Get MusicMatch Jukebox...It's the Best audio player on the market, and you can get a free version too!! The only players I have seen that will do this are car cd players, some home units and newer burners! I still write cd text to all my master cd's because it just doesn't hurt anything. At some point someone will see your song titles and think...how cool, how did they do that?? Don't sweat it, it's just a minor thing. Mike PS: I have Wavelab and it is the Best bit of software you can buy. I have the Waves Gold Bundle with it too.....Truly Awesome. Can't live without it. Here is the Wavelab Forum link, very good!! http://forum.cubase.net/cgi-bin/cubase.net/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=WaveLab&number=3&DaysPrune=10&LastLogin= launchpad67a, Sep 6, 2003 #2 falkon2 Well-Known Member Joined: Mar 17, 2003 Originally posted by launchpad67a: Get MusicMatch Jukebox...It's the Best audio player on the market, and you can get a free version too!! I will also attempt to take over your computer and open myself when you want to burn a CD, encode an MP3 or even write a letter in MSWord!" falkon2, Sep 6, 2003 #3 thedug Guest How are you burning your masters in wavelab? CD-A, PMCD, or DDP? Which of the fields for cd text is relevent? Wavelab has alot more than others. Most apps just have artist & title. Where wavelab has performer, composer, blah, blah blah. d./ thedug, Sep 6, 200
