Is there a way we can figure out what file it is looking for that it keeps failing on? (The installer options are "Easy Install" and "Uninstall.")In your case, use the installer for the 6.3 client to uninstall any remaining components from that installation. This may also uninstall everything from the 6.1 client as well, but to be safe, you might want to run another uninstall using the 6.1 installer.Doing this, you should be able to safely reinstall the 6.1 client, after which you should be all set. this particular script/removable drive for weeks and weeks with no problem besides speeds dropping very low occasionally. Today I tried to do an incremental backup and Retro popped an "error 1101 - (file/Directory not found)". After scratching my head for a few minutes, this started to sound familiar. So I went to "Backup Sets", double clicked the set in question, and Retro prompted me for the location of the catalog file. I pointed it to the same ..rbf on the removable disk that I've been using for all these weeks, reran the script and it went a-ok. I *know* I've been http://forums.retrospect.com/index.php?/topic/28749-error-1101-filedirectory-not-found/ through this at least once before - more likely 2-3 times. Anybody know that's happening here? Something with Windows and drive mappings would be my first guess. This particular disk goes both ways: USB2 and 1394. Sometimes I use it on USB, but recently I switched back to using in on a 1394 port. -- PeteCresswell (PeteCresswell), Jan 3, 2007 #1 Advertisements Show Ignored Content Want http://www.techiehq.net/threads/retrospect-file-directory-not-found.40059/ to reply to this thread or ask your own question? The full backup was 27.9 Originally posted by jdc2000 What errors did you get? A more detailed description might be helpful. The errors could be be caused by several things. Were any other programs running during the backup process? That would explain most if not all of the error messages. Can't Access Media Set Started by Bill Face , Oct 11 2011 02:01 PM Please log in to reply 1 reply to this topic #1 Bill Face Bill Face Newbie Members 1 posts Posted 11 October 2011 - 02:01 PM Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone can help me out with a problem that has manifested itself. I created a script to back up my Audio drive (i run a recording studio), and it was doing it daily for 6 months. Then it stopped executing properly about a month ago. I didn't notice as it works in the background, but for the past month the log for each attempted backup reports the following message: Can't access Media Set Audio, error -1101 ( file/directory not found) I've tried repairing the Media Set but nothing seems to happen. If anyone could help, I'd be most grateful. If data is missing, click on "Locate" and navigate to the location of the media set's catalog.
