Theapplication consists of a DLL that I created in C# using VS.Net 2003. msi, the install is returning an error. It seems to occur when there hasn't been a clean uninstallation. I have the same error as you : DEBUG: Error 2945: Installation of ComPlus App C:\Program Files\COMPlus Applications\{80801E29-22E5-4BF8-875B-F64DD0AC4346}\APL51.tmp failed with error -2146368476. I wondered whether the apl51.tmp file was some sort of internal check file which registered a problem because I have removed a component? I can't find out anything about this apl file. The error: "The installation was interrupted before Acronis True Image Enterprise Server could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." I contacted the guys at Acronis and sent them my installation logs, and they came to the conclusion that my COM+ services weren't running (they have to be for Acronis), which they were.
