Join them; it only takes a minute: Sign up Startup error of embedded ActiveMQ: Temporary Store limit is 51200 mb up vote 4 down vote favorite 1 I have a Spring web application which will send and listen on a standalone ActiveMQ. When I start the web application, it shows: 20:12:52.684 [localhost-startStop-1] ERROR o.a.activemq.broker.BrokerService - Temporary Store limit is 51200 mb, whilst the temporary data directory: /root/activemq-data/localhost/tmp_storage only has 29021 mb of usable space I googled and read many articles, they all refer to configure broker and systemusage to limit the temp store size. However, I do not how to do this in Spring configuration. Below is my configuration XML. Spectrum - ERROR [BrokerService] Failed to start ActiveMQ JMS Message Broker Issue Spectrum on a Unix server is not starting and error is found in wrapper log:INFO | jvm 1 | ERROR [BrokerService] Failed to start ActiveMQ JMS Message Broker. Reason: java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX: Failed to bind to server socket: nio://0.0.0.0:61616 due to: java.net.BindException: The socket name is already in use.INFO | jvm 1 | java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX: Failed to bind to server socket: nio://0.0.0.0:61616 due to: java.net.BindException: The socket name is already in use. Cause The Spectrum service was not fully stopped and the process is hanging. Resolution UPDATED : February 13, 2015 Run the "ps -ef | grep spectrum" command. If anything else except acushare is running, run the -kill command against it and restart Spectrum.
