In the Application Event Log, I esent error keep getting the following error; Event ID: 215 Source: ESENT Task Category: Logging/Recovery Message: WinMail (41748) WindowsMail0: The backup has been stopped because it was halted by the client or the connection with the client has failed. The errors started showing up as new user accounts started logging in at 8:00am. I don't understand the reference to WinMail as I am not using any mail client on the server, that I am aware of. I am using roaming esent error event profiles and folder redirection via group policy linked to the RDSH server OU, if that makes any difference. My clients are Windows XP SP3 running a client called ThinLaunch to lock it down and automatically present the RDSH Server login Any ideas? 0 Question by:dcadler Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 9 Best Solution byTehzar Do you have any AV software installed on this server? This is a Windows Server 2008R2 running Remote Desktop Session Host. I do not even have the Windows Backup role installed. I do not have Exchange installed. I do not have any mail system installed. This is an out of the box install with just the file server and Remote Desktop Services roles installed. 0 LVL 9 Overall: Level 9 Windows Server 2008 3 Remote Access 1 Message Accepted Solution by:Tehzar2012-05-01 Do you have any AV software installed on

Basically the logs were littered with Event ID's 215 and 485. Source: ESENT Event ID: 215 Data: The backup has been stopped because it was halted by the client or the connection with the client failed. Source: ESENT Event ID: 485 Data: An attempt to delete the file "C:Windowssystem32dhcpbackupoldnew" failed with system error 5 (0x00000005): "Access is denied. ". The delete file operation will fail with error -1032 (0xfffffbf8). Googling this issue found not much as far as resolutions. Basically all that I had to do was the following… Open DHCP and right-click the server name and choose Properties. Change the Backup Path to something new. I personally created a new folder on the root of the C: drive.
