I've been having a lot of problems with my system crashing lately and have been searching like crazy trying to find a https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/894278 reason. I'm not the most technically sound person but through my reading I have managed to: -Check all of my memory physically and with memtest, as outlined in the sticky post. -Update my drivers to the best of my knowledge and ability. -Disabled my onboard soundcard and the other stuff that the sticky post said to do. Before seeing the event viewer all I knew about my problem was what the blue screen said: A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears... I am running Windows 10. 5820k, GTX980, 16GB Ram. It seems programs are randomly crashing for me now and the PC is becoming unresponsive which I am forced to do hard resets to resolve.
